Chronos Menas appears near the end of the first story run in Another Eden Begins. The RPG Site first-playthrough walkthrough places the fight in Chronos's Umbra after the Primal encounters and before Eden. That ordering matters: prepare for a sequence of battles rather than spending all of your resources on a single screen.

Before entering the final sequence

At the last available camp or save point, check that your active party can cover damage, healing, and support. Bring a second source of recovery in another party if your roster allows it. Upgrade the weapons and armor you actually use, equip relevant badges, and review the skills you have unlocked; a character sitting in reserve with no useful actions will not help when you need a swap.

The game's official combat description recommends balancing attackers, supporters, and healers. It also explains that attacks fill the Another Force gauge and that activating Another Force stops enemy actions while your team attacks. Before triggering a long burst, decide which party members can exploit the boss's current condition and which can keep the team alive afterward.

How to approach Chronos Menas

  1. Observe the opening actions. Note whether the boss is using single-target pressure, group damage, status effects, or a resistance change in your current version. Avoid treating a rotation from the original mobile Another Eden as automatically valid for Begins.
  2. Keep recovery available. Heal after substantial group damage instead of assuming that the next turn is safe. If a support effect disappears, reapply it only when its benefit outweighs the lost attack or healing turn.
  3. Build Another Force deliberately. Normal attacks and skills charge the gauge. Activate it when your main damage dealers are ready and the party can handle the following turn. The publisher confirms the burst mechanic, but a fixed “half gauge” trigger is not a universal rule.
  4. Use party swaps for a reason. If your current party cannot answer a particular attack pattern, move to a prepared group with the right recovery or damage coverage. Do not swap merely because a guide names a particular character you may not have recruited.
  5. Review after a loss. Identify the action that defeated the party, then change one variable—gear, healing timing, party composition, or burst timing—before retrying. That is more useful than following an unverified four-turn script.

After the fight

The first-playthrough walkthrough places Eden after Chronos Menas. Leave enough recovery capacity for that next encounter. Once the main story is complete, the publisher says New Game+ becomes available, carrying forward your characters' strength and opening more than ten possible endings. See the New Game+ and endings guide for that stage.

Frequently asked questions

Is Chronos Menas the last fight of the first playthrough?

RPG Site's played-through route lists an Eden fight afterward. Plan for the full closing sequence.

Is there one mandatory four-turn counter-rotation?

The official product material does not publish a fixed Chronos Menas rotation. Observe the attacks in your game version and adjust healing and support timing accordingly.

Do I need one exact party?

No party is named as mandatory in the publisher's guidance. A balanced group with recovery, support, and reliable damage is a practical starting point.
