The official game site presents a 19-character roster for Another Eden Begins. Some allies join through the story; others require an encounter quest; Ramiu belongs to the New Game+ journey. You do not recruit the whole cast at the start, and a character listed here can be unavailable until your chapter advances.

The availability table below follows RPG Site's firsthand character reference, which lists each character's weapon, element, first recruitment point and ability trees. Its chapter numbers describe the earliest opportunity, not a requirement to finish every optional encounter before continuing the main story.

Story allies and encounter recruits

Aldo starts the adventure. Feinne joins briefly near the beginning and becomes available again later. Riica, Amy, Cyrus and Helena also join through story progression, although some appear temporarily before a permanent return. Yuna's Chapter 6 encounter is mandatory. Other names in the table have optional New Encounter quests once the relevant chapter has opened. The firsthand walkthrough gives the map objective for each encounter; use it when a quest marker is difficult to find.

Ramiu is introduced in New Game+, which the publisher unlocks after the first main-story clear. She is one of the 19 listed characters, not a twentieth base-game recruit. The publisher separately sells Character Expansion Packs; those optional DLC characters are not part of the base roster in this table. Availability of each pack should be checked on the current storefront rather than inferred from an announcement of future packs.

Weapons, skills and badges

Weapon and element are starting points for a team, not a complete description of its role. The firsthand reference lists each ally's two ability trees and the costs and conditions of their skills. For instance, Cetie uses a fire-element lance but also learns non-type abilities; a team designed only around his listed element would miss that option.

Completing an ally's Character Quests awards their character badge, according to the character reference. Another ally using the same weapon type can equip it to access one of the original character's Chain Skills. Check the specific Chain condition before building a strategy around it. Kinship quests are a different progression track; our kinship guide explains how party placement affects that experience.

FAQ

Is every character automatically recruited?

No. The table distinguishes story joins from optional encounter quests and Ramiu's New Game+ appearance.

Are announced DLC characters included in the 19?

No. The 19-character count refers to the base game's roster. DLC packs are separate purchases.
