Another Eden Begins on Switch 2 has two purchase routes: the complete Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, or the Switch base game plus its required Upgrade Pack. If you already own the Switch game, check the upgrade listing before buying another complete copy.
Nintendo's Upgrade Pack page explicitly requires the base game. Buying the pack alone is not buying Another Eden Begins.

What the Switch 2 Edition improves
The complete edition's Nintendo listing advertises 4K support and a frame rate of up to 60 FPS. These are the concrete enhancements to use when comparing it with the Switch version.
Read those features separately. “4K support” identifies a supported output capability; “up to 60 FPS” sets a maximum advertised frame-rate target. Neither phrase establishes that every scene maintains 4K at 60 FPS, and this guide does not substitute a store description for a performance test.
The listing supports TV, tabletop, and handheld play. If you mostly use handheld mode, focus your decision on the experience on that screen rather than treating a television-output feature as a handheld resolution.
Check the upgrade and demo save separately
Buying an upgrade answers an ownership question. Moving a demo save answers a progress question. Complete both checks if your adventure began in the demo on a different Nintendo system.
