Five character packs, or one Season Pass
Another Eden Begins DLC includes five announced character packs with two characters each. The Season Pass bundles those five packs. Buying a pack and getting its characters into your party are separate steps: the publisher specifies story progress and completion of the relevant Encounter Quest.
The lineup below uses the publisher's English character names. Japanese prices are kept in yen rather than presented as unverified US or European store prices.
Every announced DLC character pack
| Pack | Characters |
|---|---|
| Vol. 1 | Thillelille and Tiramisu |
| Vol. 2 | Elseal and Benedict |
| Vol. 3 | Aoife and Wenefica |
| Vol. 4 | Claude and Isuka |
| Vol. 5 | Ashtear and Victor |
The names appear in the official Vol. 1–2 lineup and Vol. 3–5 lineup. Those announcements schedule Vol. 1–2 for September 17, 2026 and Vol. 3–5 before the end of 2026. An announced lineup is not evidence that all five packs are already downloadable; check the individual listing on your platform for its availability.
If your main reason for buying DLC is one favorite character, locate that character's volume first. You do not need the entire pass merely to identify the pack that contains them.
How the additional characters join
The official Japanese DLC details describe additional Encounter, Ally, and Kinship quests. They also state that adding a character to the party requires progressing through the story and completing that character's Encounter Quest.
That gives you a practical order to follow:
- Check that you own the volume containing the character you want.
- Confirm that the pack is available and installed for your copy of the game.
- Progress far enough to meet its story requirement.
- Complete the relevant Encounter Quest to add the character.
The announcement does not supply an exact chapter threshold or quest location for every character. If a purchased character is not immediately in the party, do not assume the purchase failed solely from that absence; first distinguish installation from the in-game recruitment requirement.
Season Pass versus separate packs
The publisher's Japanese announcements list 1,000 JPY per pack and 4,500 JPY for the five-pack Season Pass. The official Season Pass announcement explicitly labels the pass price as tax-inclusive. The comparison below uses the printed yen amounts.
| What you want | Separate-pack total | Comparison with the 4,500 JPY pass |
|---|---|---|
| One pack | 1,000 JPY | 3,500 JPY less |
| Two packs | 2,000 JPY | 2,500 JPY less |
| Three packs | 3,000 JPY | 1,500 JPY less |
| Four packs | 4,000 JPY | 500 JPY less |
| All five packs | 5,000 JPY | Pass costs 500 JPY less |
This is arithmetic using the announced Japanese prices checked on September 16, 2026. At those prices, the pass saves 10% compared with buying all five separately. It is not the cheaper choice if you only want up to four packs.
Before buying a pass after buying individual volumes, check your store's terms. Do not assume it credits earlier purchases or automatically discounts content you already own.
What to check before purchasing
- Character preference: choose by the named lineup, not an untested tier ranking.
- Platform: match the add-on to your base game's platform and store listing.
- Contents: the Season Pass is character content, not the Switch 2 graphics upgrade.
- Timing: distinguish owning the pass from being able to download every included volume.
- Budget: compare prices in your own store region; the yen example is not a global price list.
Character names alone do not establish damage rankings, party roles, or an optimal team. Use the actual skills and quest details when available for those decisions; the purchasing choice here is about which characters and packs you want.
