How do you unlock the additional endings?

Another Eden Begins opens its additional endings through New Game+ after you complete the main story. The publisher describes more than ten endings shaped by your actions and choices. The first objective is therefore a completed playthrough, not finding a way to select every ending at the start. See the official New Game+ overview.

This is a spoiler-light explanation of how the system works. It does not name endings or substitute guesses for their item and dialogue requirements.

What changes when you start New Game+?

The developers describe carrying developed characters and most items and equipment into New Game+, with changes to enemy strength and item availability. A cleared save lets you select the mode when starting a new game, according to RPG Site's interview with the developers.

Part of the experienceHow to interpret it
Story completionThis is the gate to New Game+, not merely a suggested level target.
Character developmentYou continue with developed characters instead of treating the mode as a completely fresh build.
Items and equipmentThe developers say most carry over. Do not turn that into a guarantee for every individual item.
Repeat encountersChanges to enemy strength mean an earlier victory is not a complete plan for the new run.
Branching storyChoices and actions affect which ending you reach.

The practical distinction is between retaining useful progression and repeating an identical world state. New Game+ offers continuity, but not a promise that every condition is unchanged.

Do you have to replay everything for each ending?

Not necessarily. In the same interview, director Yasutaka Onaga explains that players can return to points before endings or revisit branches instead of completing the whole game again for each outcome.

That is a description of the branching system, not a universal menu shortcut. This page does not infer a chapter-select list, unrestricted access to any past scene, or a particular button sequence from that explanation.

When following a route guide, check that it identifies the actual return point and the conditions needed there. “Go back and choose differently” is not enough if the branch also depends on an item or earlier action.

What determines a route?

Some endings require particular items or choices, as Onaga explains in Final Weapon's developer interview. That is why a useful ending guide needs more than the final dialogue answer.

A route worth following should tell you:

  • whether it requires New Game+ and which story state it assumes;
  • which item or earlier condition matters, if any;
  • where the branch decision happens;
  • which action reaches the intended outcome;
  • how to return without accidentally discarding progress you wanted to keep.

These are checks for evaluating a guide, not a claim that every ending uses every condition on the list. Avoid following an unspecified “all endings” shortcut that cannot explain its starting state.

Ramiu and the second adventure

The publisher connects the sand spirit Ramiu with Aldo's further adventure. Her role belongs to the New Game+ discussion, but her name should not be confused with the purchase-bonus Encounter Ramiu ticket for the original Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space.

The official character and bonus descriptions distinguish those uses. Redeeming an original-game reward is not the step that unlocks New Game+ in Begins; completing the main story is.
